I'm sending in my transcript request form tomorrow. I have a network of support, and created an obligation for myself, that, once I start this, I must see it through to the end. Thank you Danny, for being there, and helping me make that promise. Between you and Gina, I know I'll be able to do this.
I'll be applying to the community college in town, and will hopefully be studying for and AS in Medical Laboratory Technology. It's not exactly what I thought I'd be doing, but I never really knew what I wanted. This seems like an interesting and challenging course for me to go, and I'm excited for it.
I am pretty sure that I'll be complaining in the future about all the science and math that I'll be taking, considering that they were never really my best classes, but I understand that I won't be taking the classes because I'm GOOD in them, but because I wish to learn.
I'm telling everyone this before everything starts, only to make that obligation and promise to myself just a bit more real. I am making myself accountable for my decisions, and I am praying that this is the last time I have to worry about applying to a school before I get a degree. I DO intend on eventually receiving my Bachelor's, but at this point, I will be happy to receive an Associates, and finally get started in a career. Until then, I am taking one step at a time, completing small goals in order to accomplish the big one.
Please, if you care to add on any responsibilities for yourself, try to keep me accountable. I shouldn't have to ask for the push, but it seems I still need it. Thank you to those that have already done so.

And to those friends of mine that I've lost along the way - from when I started school, and joined this art community - to now, I still value every bit of time we ever spent together, be it on the phone, internet, or in person. I miss you.
- I believe Shaun is now engaged, if not married, to a gorgeous leggy blonde somewhere in Texas. Always went for the blondes. . .
- I'm hoping that Jason R. is safe wherever he is - the last I heard of him, he joined the military to be a cook. An awesome friend from Mississippi.
- Another talented cook, John A., now a chef, I imagine, in California. I don't think I'll ever regain his friendship again, but I will always wish him well.
- A friend from high school, and then college, Jason S. . .I know he did some life guarding in Orlando, I believe. I'm wondering what he's doing now. He and his roommate, Nathan (the talented photographer, Achfoo, here) are the ones that introduced me to Deviantart.com.
- John R. from my art classes, who was trying to start a comic book with me and another guy from class, whose name eludes me. . .I am sure he's doing some amazing work these days, most likely in Ft. Lauderdale, but I wouldn't be surprised if he moved to the west coast.
- Gabriel, formerly known as Allen. I miss him so much, but since I knew him, he has gone down a different path I would not have expected of him. I wish him the best, and hope things improved since I last talked with him.
I miss and love them all so much, and wish they knew the impact they've had on me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now back to school. Back to business.
Keep me accountable, guys! I love you!

(Top right corner...)
Yay!!!
I just wanted to share with you, since you're the one who convinced me to join up.

It was nice to see you pop your head in the room for a moment.
So, it's been over two years, since we've seen any new art from you. When do we get to see something new?
Oh, by the way...
Merry Christmas!
